Most of you know that I'm passionate about the kids at Starship and my role as head of the Starship Foundation.

That's why I'm prepared to again pull on my running shoes and put my scrawny body on the line to raise some much-needed funds. But I need all the help I can get from you - big or small, I'm deeply grateful!

If you've seen me in training, I'm clearly not the fastest or most elegant runner, but I'm determined to do my best.

I'm also running in memory of my late Mum and Dad, who taught me the values that I hold dear today and who continue to be my inspiration.
