Can Lucy Sing?

She most certainly can. As a youngster she trained as an Opera singer but didn't like the restrictions. Lucy got back into singing professionally with a stint during Grease! on Broadway during September 1997, followed that up by singing with Dave Dobbyn on a concert tour of New Zealand, the NZ Pre Oscar Party. Lucy's debut on Celebrity Duets (where she came second) gave her the performing bug and she has held concerts in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and London. Can Lucy Dance?

Lucy says she can't but if she really tries she can dance quite well. Her performances in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes where several of songs she performed required her to dance were outstanding. She did a great job. Lucy is not a natural dancer but can do it if she puts her mind to it.

Is Lucy Married?

Yes. Lucy is married to Robert G. Tapert (Rob). They have been married since 28 March 1998. Rob is a producer (and was the producer for Xena Warrior Princess). They have two children, Julius and Judah, and Lucy has a daughter, Daisy, from a previous marriage.

How Tall is Lucy?

Lucy is 5' 9.5. Several articles refer to her as being 5'10 or 5'11 (and even 6 ft) but they are incorrect. Lucy recently stated that she finally measured herself and found that she was 5'9.5

I've seen pictures of Lucy with a tattoo on her arm, is it real?
 

Lucy does not have any tattoos but she did sport a fake one for a little while in Seattle during rehearsals for Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. That tat was not related to the show and it wasn't real. Came off with baby oil.

I've seen pictures that Lucy has taken, were they really taken by Lucy?

Yep they sure were. A very generous fan Edgar donated them to the site for everyone to enjoy.

Naked Eye Celebrity Benefit - They asked 150 celebrities & artists to shoot a disposable camera and they auctioning off these cameras-before they're developed! The money raised went to gay and lesbian film organizations MIX NYC and The 19th NY Lesbian & Gay Experimental Film Festival.

Where Can I Find Nude Pictures of Lucy in Spartacus

Lucy has indicated that she will be appearing nude on the new show Spartacus during the 2009 Comic Con Panel, AUSXIP will not be posting any images of Lucy completely naked and/or showing naughty bits.

If/When Lucy does go starkers and certain areas are shown, our wonderful friend Pixelation will come into play.

If you wish to find these images, let google be your friend and do a search for them.

Where can I find the pictures from that Hockey Game I've heard so much about?

Not here. That was an accident and downright embarrassing for Lucy. She didn't intend for it to happen and therefore you won't find them on the site. Sorry.

Why do fans call her "Flawless"

F stands for Frances, her middle name and Lawless is her surname. Thus you have FLAWLESS. It's quite fitting. Her fans frequently call her "The Flawless One"

What is the NZ Order of Merit and Why did Lucy get this award

Lucy has been given this honour for services to entertainment and the community.

The 36-year-old actor, whose role as Xena in Xena: Warrior Princess made her a cult television star, has been involved with the Starship Foundation for the past 10 years and has held a role on its board of trustees for the past four years.  Starship Foundation chief executive Andrew Young said Lawless gave freely of her time.

Was Julius Tapert (Lucy and Rob's first son) in Xena as Baby Eve?

No. Several magazines claim that Julius was used for Baby Eve but that isn't true. Lucy and Rob are very protective of their son. Daisy Lawless (Lucy's daughter) was in an episode of Hercules as an extra.

Josh Becker (writer and director for several Xena episodes) addressed this issue on a Q&A on his site:

"Xena's child, Eve, is in this episode. As the old expression goes, the things you want to avoid in filmmaking are: babies, animals, and shooting on the water. We had two babies so that when one got cranky we could replace it with the other one. And yes, I've met Julius Tapert several times. He is a very pleasant, quiet, sleepy baby, so far.
 

Renee also mentioned that several babies played Eve in a New York Times article 22 February 2000

"There are babies everywhere,'- says Xena: Warrior,  Princess a,, star Renee O'Connor, referring to the impact of Eve. newborn daughter of Xena (Lucy Lawless), who arrived a few weeks back as an immaculate conception in the episode "God Fearing Child:-"We've had about four different babies playing this one character.

"It's really amazing," she adds. "I don't think that I will ever need to have children of my own, because they me around me all the time."

No. Time marches on and the time for a Xena movie has long ago past us...maybe in a few years we will see a Xena movie but Lucy won't be Xena. Watch the DVDs or read the high quality Xena fanfic.

What Is the Lucy Lawless Feel The Love Day/Week?

21 September has been designated Lucy Lawless Feel The Love Day by her fans on the Official Lucy Lawless Fan Club. It was the brainchild of Rebecca (one of Lucy's many devoted fans) who wanted to show her appreciation for Lucy and since then the Official Lucy Lawless Fan Club has maintained a list of fans and their contributions.

It kicks off a week of charitable acts and donations by the fans in honor and support of Lucy. On the 21st, Lucy will be presented with a single red rose, a card from her official fan club, and the list of all the charitable acts and donations that will be made in her honor. What better way to show how much we care about Lucy in that we give to others.

Did Lucy Take Photos For Charity and Where Can I Find Them?

Lucy was asked by the MIX NYC and NY Lesbian & Gay Experimental Film Festival if she could take a disposable camera and take photos. They were then auctioned off to raise money for gay and lesbian film organisations. The fan who won the cameras (Edgar) contributed the photos to the site for everyone to enjoy. Camera #1 went for $3,350 and Camera #2 went for $3,550. You can view the photos here

AUSXIP Lucy Lawless offers video clips, images, articles etc under the Fair Use Law which is outlined in the Copyright Law which says in part:

108. Limitations on exclusive rights: Reproduction by libraries and archives

(a) . . . it is not an infringement of copyright for a library or archives, or any of its employees acting
within the scope of their employment, to reproduce no more than one copy or phonorecord of a work, except as
provided in subsections (b) and (c), or to distribute such copy or phonorecord, under the conditions specified by this section, if —

(1) the reproduction or distribution is made without any purpose of direct or indirect commercial advantage;

(3) the reproduction or distribution of the work includes a notice of copyright that appears on the copy or phonorecord that is reproduced under the provisions of this section, or includes a legend stating that the work may be protected by copyright if no such notice can be found on the copy or phonorecord that is reproduced under the provisions of this section.

I'm not. I never will sell my artwork. If you do see anyone selling images off AUSXIP or AUSXIP Lucy Lawless or AUSXIP Renee O'Connor, it's not me. Please let me know and I will contact ebay and the seller.

Yes, Lucy is very aware of it and likes it which is seriously cool.
