Lucy has long been associated with Breast Cancer Research - a t-shirt is available that Lucy designed to help in the research in finding a cure for breast cancer.

The Celebrate the Child and Youth Campaign includes a launch event, the establishment of strategic networks and support via media owners and corporate citizens to underwrite the commercial requirements for the event, and the establishment of a platform to launch the OMC song 'Aotearoa 4 All of Us' sung by Pauly Fuemana and Lucy Lawless. Frontrunners - Lucy was a presenter at the fun run and also was in the parade. The fun run was in aid of Project Angel Food and GLASS - Gay and Lesbian Adolescent Social Services

Kevin Smith Trust Fund - set up after the untimely and tragic death of Kevin Smith (Ares) in China on 15 February 2002. The fund will help Kevin's family. Lucy is a trustee of the fund.

Lucy donated a Xena costume plus boots for the Starjam “Stars Thru Their Eyes 2004” which was held in August in New Zealand.

Lucy Lawless Attends (and hosts) Starship Foundation Charity Ball 16 October 2004. The Ball was to raise $100,00 to expand the NZ TelePaediatric Service, a video-conferencing network which links medical professionals to allow them to treat patients all over the country.
