It was a star turnout at Sydney's most watched event, the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade. Lucy Lawless, the real-life alter-ego of TV warrior princess and gay icon Xena, was a surprise guest, although she must have wondered if she was meeting the real Dannii Minogue - there were so many Dannii lookalikes.
Realee Hill did her bit to beef up the police presence, her TV colleague Jay Laga'aia had his work cut out talking to this cat on the prowl.
