Starship's most famous supporter, Lucy Lawless, came home for a special event last week. She was one of a number of stars to attend the Auckland Cup Charity Ball in support of the Starship Foundation, at Ellerslie Convention Centre in Auckland. Kerre Woodham hosted the event and looked every inch the hostess, in a sparkly blue Shoshama dress.

The event raised $75,000 for the Starship Foundation, with the biggest-selling auction item of the evening being a night withLucy and Kerre as hostesses. Coupland Bakeries' Ray Coupland's top bid of $17,000 took away that fabulous prize, which will no doubt create a memorable evening at one of his corporate functions.

But not to be outdone, businessman Patrick Harrison, who had the second-highest bid, decided to honour his bid of $16,000 anyway! Lucy and Kerre were so impressed, they agreed to play hostess at his special event too.
