'Xena' blasts off to 'Battlestar'
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- New Zealand actress Lucy Lawless says she's happy to guest star on "Battlestar Galactica,"
but she wouldn't mind revisiting "Xena: Warrior Princess."
Lawless blasts into space for "Battlestar's" Sept. 9 episode, Tvguide.com reported Monday. Lawless also told Sci Fi Wire she's still waiting
for a call to do a feature film based on the Warrior Princess role she played for six years.
"I would love to do it," she said, "(but) nobody can agree (on) who owns the rights and it's a big fat pain in the ass."
If the movie does come down the pike, Lawless said she would like to see it reflect the campier side of the show.
"It could be a good comedy," she said. "Comedy always works."
