A nosy journalist (Lucy Lawless) smells a scandal when she boards the Galactica to interview the stressed-out crew. Using her native New Zealand accent, Lawless plays Fleet News Service reporter D'anna Friel, whom the actress wryly describes as a "down-market Christiane Amanpour". Given access to the battlestar in the aftermath of Tigh's crackdown on civilian protesters, D'anna is quickly inundated with story ideas. But the muckraker finds the best fodder for her expose when she sees the medical care lavished on the pregnant Cylon Sharon.
