Lawless paid a whirlwind 30 hour visit from LA to Auckland on 16th October to MC last year's Charity Ball, once again showing her overwhelming commitment to Starship.
The theme was "Kiwiana - Celebrating Our Kiwi Culture" and was present in the food, entertainment and dress for the evening. Lucy was joined by co-host Simon Dallow and an entertainment line up featuring Peter Urlich, Debbie
Harwood and Heniwehi Mohi at the SKYCITY Convention Centre. There was a short live auction of rare and exclusive items.
The ball raised just under $100,000 towards expanding the NZ TelePaediatric Service, a video-conferencing network which links medical professionals around New Zealand so they can pool their experience and best treat young
patients -no matter where they live.
