BUSY, BUSY:

Lucy Lawless, who went from the TV movie "Vampire Bats" to a stint on "Battlestar Galactica," also has the big-screen horror flick "Darkroom" due out next year, with "Desperate Housewives" Shawn Pyfrom as a teenager who befriends an escapee from a mental institution who sees visions of horrible murders being committed.

There has been talk of continuing the scientist role she played in "Vampire Bats" and its precursor, "Locusts," in a third telepic, but Lawless isn't sure.

"If they get to frogs, I'm out," she says.
