The Canadian magazine, Famous, which is a mag that is given in
movie theatres as well as newstands, has a quote in the back from Lucy.
Lucy's quote reads, "When I first got the part of Xena the Warrior Princess, I
worked out in the gym for two hours every day. I became obsessed with my body and working
out. I knew it wasn't healthy and, in the end, my back gave out so I had to stop punishing
myself. Instead. I started walking and working out with hand weights. I lost some of the
muscle but I decided I looked just as good. Now I think I've got the balance right."
